The colours of the sea which can change by the day and even the hour are reflected in the colours and glazes which I select to decorate the porcelain shells. I collect the mussel shells which inspire this piece when walking my dog along the beach near Rye.
As each piece of beach themed wall art is handmade, from the initial sculpting of the porcelain shells to the glazing of each individual shell, there will be slight differences in each one.
When complete the porcelain shells are then assembled and mounted in a white frame to create a unique piece of wall art.
